Meet Tako, your tiny eight-armed desktop companion. 

Tako lives entirely in your Windows system tray.

Care for Tako long enough and your family may grow, with each baby becoming its own tray companion! But those tiny lives depend on you: illness can spread, neglect has consequences, and every Tako has a lifespan. Reach level 99 to ascend to OctoHeaven!

Choose your Tako’s name and colour, learn its personality, and watch it grow. Some Takos love audio and pop on headphones whenever something plays. Others nap with little floating Zs. Birthdays bring party hats, while surprise mail and gifts deliver fun facts about real octopuses and other surprises.

Your family is saved between sessions, and the original Tako lets you pause everyone’s care or close the whole app.

Watch out for threats, and play a variety of mini-games to train your Tako’s intelligence.

Play a Cosy adventure or choose a faster-paced game, then journey to the depths of the ocean to discover the truth.

The Free Trial limits:
